Atticus9292012 Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 (edited) Okay so around December I met this guy from tinder. We'll call him Jim. Had a great date. Seemed really cool. It went pretty well all in all, but our schedules never seemed to mesh so things quickly fizzled out. Fast forward to about 3 weeks ago. I met another guy from tinder. We'll call him Bob. We had a great date on a Thursday that turned into a weekend. We ended up hooking up Sunday of that weekend. I slept over and I had to leave his house before he woke up. I texted him later that day explaining that to him. No response. Sent another text after a couple days, no response. At this point I decide to delete his number. I have run into him a couple times out and he never acknowledges me, so I don't acknowledge Bob. So this past Thursday I'm out with friends and run into Jim. At first I didn't remember how I knew him, but we both recognized each other and started chatting. We talked for a good bit, but I decided to rejoin my friends. As did he. Well, we start to play pool. Guess who walks in? Bob. Guess who joins Jim and his friends? Bob. Guess who starts playing pool at the table next to us? Bob, Jim, and company. My friends told me it appeared they knew each other well. It was so awkward. I kept feeling someone looking at me and would look over and Bob was looking at me. I just tried to focus on my friends and laugh to myself about this situation. Well, Friday morning I get a text from Jim telling me how nice it was to see me and asked me out. I said that would be cool and so far no follow up. My plan is to kinda leave it alone, but just curious your thoughts. Ever happened to anyone else? Puglife Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Here is my tinder funny story. My tinder match I will call John. Me and my friend who I call Robert would go to a gas station by Roberts house to buy drinks, cigs, etc. So me and Robert were in the gas station a few weeks ago joking about a hookup I had. John works at this gas station and joined in on the conversation when he was ringing us up. It was an all around funny moment and I found myself attracted to John but didn't say anything cause I don't know him. I didn't have tinder at the time, John was just a guy I met at a gas station. So 2 days ago I am hanging out with Robert and we go to gas station. I see John there and he starts talking to me and I get this odd feeling like I have seen him before elsewhere and I mention it to him. He doesent know where else we could of met so i blow it off. Me and Robert leave and I get on my tinder and boom that's where I recognized him. we matched up a few weeks ago and he never messaged me. Robert told me to message him so I just sent a "hey :)" and a few hours later I check tinder and the jerk unmatched me hahaha. I think I creeped him out.
Superman2024 Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 I just had a crazy Tinder experience of my own during my vacation to Florida. While I was down there I was swiping away and matched with a 20 year old girl who worked at Disney. We chatted back and forth a bit but she was being a tease about meeting. A couple of days before I had to fly out, I was at one of the Disney parks and passed by a girl who looked strangely familiar. When I saw her name tag and realized it was likely her, I stopped and talked to her. I let her know I was the guy she was chatting with on Tinder and how surprised I was that we actually ran into each other! She was pretty shocked too lol. We chatted for several minutes and I asked if she wanted to do something that evening and I got a "maybe." I told her to let me know. When I didn't hear from her that night I told her I could take her out Saturday since I was flying out Sunday. Unfortunately, she was rude and didn't say a word back and just unmatched me the next day. I think the whole experience freaked her out and she just couldn't believe we randomly found each other like that. She probably thought I somehow tracked her location to stalk her haha. I still can't believe the odds of me running into her like that! 2
