Hi everyone I'm Nicole and I need a better understanding how to move on from an ex. Here's my story I was first friends with this guy named Louis since I was 7 years old I did swimming lessons with him which was fun and became friends from then on. Until we stopped being in contact so I forgot about him until one day he found we on Facebook and added me of course cause he knew me. We started talking again become closer friends to point of being best friends. And then a year later 2013 he told me that he had feeling for me but I rejected him. Then another year when past 2014 then I reliese do liked him and I had feelings for him and he actually waited for me. Then on February 1 2014 he asked me out and I said YES of course I was so happy. Anyway we went out for 2 years. We were so great together had so many cute and amazing memories and dates. We were so In love for along time. My one day it all changed on me. 19 of March 2016 this year. He broke up with me and broke my heart into a thousand pieces and I still can't move on and get over him it's to hard. I'm still in love with him and still have feelings for him. But the good thing is that we talk still a bit when he can and we are still close and are good friends still which is really good.

Actually that is really BAD. You need to put some distance in here. You still love him. He broke up with you. Every single time you talk to him you delay your ability to heal & move on.

It's like a physical scab. The scab forms to help your body heal from an injury. When you pick the scab you reopen the wound, let in new bacteria, delay healing & probably cause a scar. Same with emotional wounds from a break up. Every time you communicate with him or check out his social media, you pick the scab & hurt yourself.
