I've been on a lot of forum sites and I know that the owners prefer their members to introduce themselves when they join so here's my introduction.

I apologise to the admins as I am new and I could not find the "introduce yourself" thread.

Anyway, I am Alan or Al. My buddies call me Al but most people call me Alan. I'm from London in England, UK and I can assure you curious cats that it's not all crumpets and cups of tea, lol, it is a pretty rough city.

My hobbies and interests pretty much make me an outcast or a misfit, I seem to be the only one where I live who loves gadgets, swords, martial arts, comics etc.

I seem to be having a lot of bad luck in the relationship department but a friend referred me to this website so hopefully you lovely people can tell me where I'm going wrong and give me some advice.

I'm looking forward to getting to know everybody.

Ta ta for now!

Welcome aboard, Alan.

Hi Al, Welcome!

I don't think there is an introduce yourself thread here, but I'm Mrs.Rubble from NZ.

This is a great place to talk anonymously about anything! There's some lovely people here with some great ideas and words of advice. There's also some pretty harsh truths to read as well at times, try not to take things personally if you encounter someone taking their bad day out on you, but be comforted they'll be reported and warned about acting respectfully.

Hi OP,

Welcome. We don't have intro threads here.

This place is a little different from many in that chatting on public threads isn't allowed and it's encouraged to focus on the issues outlined by the thread starter.

For anything not interpersonal relationships or politics/current affairs oriented the 'Water Cooler' section is used, you can see there what members post when they want to take a break from more serious threads.
