xdz777 Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 I recently finished grad school and moved to a new town. While in grad school, I went to physical therapy a lot for an injury. The physical therapist was always really friendly, but I had a girlfriend at the time and so never made a move. The physical therapist and I became friends because I went to physical therapy so often, and we even collaborated on a school project at one point. Now I'm living in a new town (so is she, which is the town my family lives in) and we are about two hours apart. I sent an email to her this week asking how she's been since we have been out of touch for a year, and she gave a very friendly response. I think she's great and want to pursue her, but I have no idea if she'd be interested or even if she's single. In replying to her email, what's a friendly, non-creepy way to let her know I'm interested? 1
LoveRefreshed Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Hey! Glad to hear from you! Would you like to meet up for (x,y,z) and catch up in person? 2
Author xdz777 Posted April 21, 2016 Author Posted April 21, 2016 I like it. Is it too forward if I include the following to make my intentions clear? "I'll be in your area visiting my parents next weekend. If you're not seeing anyone, want to catchup over drinks? 2
