Not 'sad but true', at the very least not a universal rule.

I hate calling. I don't know if it's a generational thing or I'm just awkward like that, but that's the way it is. No matter my interest, it is very unlikely I'll ever call to set up a date, if the option to either text or do it in person is available. Does that mean I'm only ever luke warm over women?

And I'm sure I'm not alone here.

I only ever talk to my mum, sister or grandma on the phone. Phone calls are a pain in the ass, always reminds me of being in high school & chicks would talk about how they were on the phone all eve to they girl friends.

Can I make a suggestion here.

Just phone the girl.

People have lives and get distracted. Just ring her and see!

Seriously. Man the hell up and stop with the childish texting and call her like an adult.

Lame.

What do you think people did BEFORE cell phones? They had to actually CALL each other and interact like normal human beings.

Texting is for cowards.

You realize that for people under 25 texting trumps a phonecall just about every time?

This isn't 1985.

Yes, but a phone call here, would answer his question in an instant and may differentiate him from her other options, if indeed she has any.

No its not - which is why so many struggle these days because they don't just talk to each other...

Besides 1985 wasn't that long ago!
