Mckarsafra Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 (edited) I've never thought of dating a coworker before, since it carries obvious major risks. Recently though, I've gotten to know a very attractive and very nice coworker who works on a different floor and who seems to have taken an interest in me. Whether she's thinking platonic or more, I'm not quite sure. She laughs at my jokes and says, "You're so funny." and "an interesting guy." Just in casual conversation we've established that both of us are single and seemed interested in why I've never been married or had kids (she's maybe a decade older than me, divorced, but cute). We spent a few hours texting after work, just asking eachother about our hobbies, interests, weekend plans, etc. I'd be interested in hanging out with her outside work, but I don't want to bring it up if the interest isn't mutual. What do you make of what's going between us? Is there something there? Edited April 16, 2016 by Mckarsafra
carinata Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Don't ever ask her out! Office romance is not worth it!
Buddhist Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Ask, you've already established outside contact and interest in personal, non-work related things. What other 'signal' are you looking for here?
