Gravityrush Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Hey everyone! New to the forum here but I'm a big fan. So here goes, my gf(23) and I (25) had been together for 4 years. I was her first everything. LITERALLY. So around feb she and I broke up mutually because she wanted to make sure this was right, even though she loved me so much. When we broke up I moved to a different state and gotten a new job. She and I didn't talk for a month expect for very few exchanges. I saw people and so did she. Over the last few weeks we started to talk all the times do had very emotional and powerful conversation and she admitted to me that she want to be with me and so did I. Everything was going amazing but then I found out from a mutal friend that a lot of her single friends are telling her she should wait longer and still be single and that it's too long. She told me about three days ago that she is having doubts now and feel we should delay out meeting for another few weeks or a month. I told her I'm totally fine with that because this should not feel forced. Later in the night she called me and said "she changed her mind and now she wants to see me!" We have a hotel booked and flight booked for her to spend the weekend. But I can't lie, I'm starting to think I don't want to see her yet. I have this anxiety that we may be doing this too soon. Her back and forth thinking zapped a good amount of my excitement and I feel we should only meet until she doesn't care what anyone thinks. But then part of me feels like if we see each other face to face, all this worries and overthinking on out ends will disappear and we'll be happy. Sorry for the wall of text, but my question is what do you think I should do? And also do you think I should not contact her at all until we see each other in 9 days?
