owl2016
Hi Loveshack, first time poster here. Stumbled upon this message board while searching for some sort of answer about this thing and found you guys. Hopefully you'll be able to shed some light! For some background, I've been single for about 7 months after a 2.5 year relationship. I had no interest in dating for the first few months afterwards and I only recently began going on dates - let's say over the last 2 months or so. And for the most part, everything has been somewhat of a disappointment. I've gone on dates with a handful of girls, and even second and third dates with a few of them. But I never really felt with a connection with any of them and began to wonder if maybe I was too closed off, or perhaps just not ready to be back out there. Well, then I met this girl and even though we've only been on 2 dates, everything has changed. We clicked immediately and have had great times together as well as communication through text. She's refreshingly honest, beautiful and we have a ton in common. I have the old "butterflies" feeling, but I've never felt it this strong before. It's only been a week and I find myself trying to pull back because I don't want to set myself up for disappointment. Now, last night she told me via text while we were having a flirty conversation that I make her kind of nervous, in a good way. I asked her what she meant by that, and she said "I'll tell you the next time I see you (:" The smiley leads me to believe this isn't anything negative, but given how I am starting to feel about her I can't help be nervous myself knowing that I make her nervous in some sort of way. And I know I'll find out myself soon enough when I see her next, but being human I can't stop thinking about it and I won't get to see her until next week. So, what could it mean? By the way, we are both in our mid-20's. I don't know if that detail helps at all. Thank you!
GorillaTheater
I think that you're over-thinking it. It's probably positive, and you'll find out soon enough. Relax.
Cinnamonstix
It means she really likes you, and you give her butterflies.
d0nnivain
She's telling you that you have her off balance too. They call it FALLING in love for a reason. It's dizzying & exhilarating but you are obligated to pace yourself. Enjoy the ride!
