carinata Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 I was very hurt when it happened and wanted the ground to open and swallow me up. I have had time to think about it and I am over it. I have learnt my lesson: Never ask a co-worker out! Now comes the most difficult part. How do I handle the situation at work? Help please!
strong-hearted Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 I'd say just try not to have any communication with your co worker until the person decides to bring it up
Fruitee Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Be 100 % professional. Nothing else. Avoid if possible. Limited contact. But be polite and well mannered.
smudge21 Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Did you ask them out and they rejected you, or are we talking you were seeing them and then they rejected you? Either way, that sucks and I know the pain. It's like a living social media, where you see the person everyday but you can't just turn it off. There's no quick fix for this, you just have to put on a brave face. Wish I could offer more support or suggestions.
