Dio castillo Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 So after I got out of a long tern relationship for almost 9 months, I finally met a girl that have many things in common. Long story short, I met her online and I asked her out for a coffee. during the conversation, we found out we both like many similar things and there is strong connection between us. so I paid for the meal that night and she said she'd like to go out with me to see a show and buy me a drink next time. I asked her out after one week later and arranged a date, she replied and said YES and sounds very exciting to see me. then after 2 days she texted to me and said she fall down from a stair and broke her leg so she need to rest and recover so she won't be able to see me this weekend. she apologized and promise me to treat me to dinner next time. The problem is this; the women I met in my life especially the pretty women tend to have something come up before the dates. Which is pretty frustrating, she is consider to be pretty and well educated in my eyes, and this was something I had anticipated to happen, so I d like to hear you guys opinion on how to deal this type of thing?
Ami1uwant Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 I wouldn't yo tally did is this as if this was sn excuse. This could have really happened. Could it have been an excuse to back out of a date??? Sure. The way to find out is to see how conversation goes the next couple of days.
smackie9 Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 What happened? the attractive ones have more options. Keep looking.
fitnessfan365 Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Is anything possible? Yes. But is it likely she's FOS? Yes. Unfortunately this is how the male/female dance works. We ask women out, and then if they change their mind, they give over the top unbelievable excuses. I can almost imagine a woman doing a group text with her girlfriends discussing the best possible story to come up with. But for all that effort to "spare a guy's feelings" all she is really doing is communicating she thinks you're a dumb-ass. This is the only thing that's ever bothered me about a flake out happening. It's like "really?" Just say "Not feeling a connection, so I'm cancelling, Sorry!" So much better than having your intelligence insulted. 1
Author Dio castillo Posted April 9, 2016 Author Posted April 9, 2016 Yea, she told me she is a careless person during the first date, she told me she often fall asleep on public places and hit the trash can while walking on the street. Maybe I am just overacting, anyway, do you think I should text her something like this" How is your leg? Do you feel any better? when are you gonna treat me to dinner? haha" I was the one who initiate contacts up till now, I was the one who make a plan & date...etc, Do you suggest I let her make up for me? Unlike my ex which is a rare case, she active pursued me and fall in love when we first met, " Girl who pursue you will never dump you" That's what I heard What's you guys opinions on this?
spriggan2 Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 She promised to treat you to dinner, back off and let her reach out to you with plans. This assuming you responded to her initial cancellation. In the mean time look online for some other dates
elaine567 Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Unlike my ex which is a rare case, she active pursued me and fall in love when we first met, " Girl who pursue you will never dump you" That's what I heard What's you guys opinions on this? I do not think that is true. She will dump you quick if you do not come up to her expectations.
truth_seeker Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 she told me she often fall asleep on public places and hit the trash can while walking on the street. What do you see in this girl? She sounds trashy...
Author Dio castillo Posted April 9, 2016 Author Posted April 9, 2016 She's actually pretty well dressed, graduated from well known university, very feminine, and pretty elegant for a 24 years old girl. she just a little careless and forgetful, kind of dorky is all. Not typical drunken and trashy girls you'd imagine. I am a pretty well dressed guy, so that is the reason why I like about her.
truth_seeker Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Girl who pursue you will never dump you" That's what I heard What's you guys opinions on this? Yes and No. Girls who pursue you have it bad for you. Some fall deeply in love... others just need to get it out of their system and move on.

The wishy-washy ones are just terrible. They give you the BS line to let you down so you walk away. Then a couple of weeks go by and they come around to see what you're up to... one time I said to a girl: "Let me guess, options dried up?" 1
Gaeta Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 If I had broken a leg I would text a picture with a funny note to apologize. Did she? 1
ff12343 Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 If I had broken a leg I would text a picture with a funny note to apologize. Did she? Because you are mature. Enough said.
Jabron1 Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Yea, she told me she is a careless person during the first date, she told me she often fall asleep on public places and hit the trash can while walking on the street. Sounds like Bozo the clown! The things some people say Maybe I am just overacting, anyway, do you think I should text her something like this" How is your leg? Do you feel any better? when are you gonna treat me to dinner? haha" Yeah. I'd try one more time. But, also see other girls. " Girl who pursue you will never dump you" That's what I heard What's you guys opinions on this? It's complete nonsense.
Author Dio castillo Posted April 9, 2016 Author Posted April 9, 2016 If I had broken a leg I would text a picture with a funny note to apologize. Did she? No, she did not, she texted me with a sad crying squirrel icon to let me know that she was sorry and promised to buy me a dinner next time we meet, then I texted her back and told her to take a rest and we shall meet up once you have recovered, and she said" please let me buy you a coffee next time for sure!" that's it. That was two days ago and we didn't talk till now.
HillValley Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Actions speak louder than words. It's on her to show you how serious she is. Don't offer any dates or times. Let her take the lead on that.
