sleeplessincnd Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 So my ex and I were supposed to go for coffee last night and something came up and he cancelled - so ignored him for the rest of the night. Then today he calls we when i am out shopping b/c he was near my house and was just going to "stop by". So i told him I wasn't home and then he said he had to go to the hospital b/c his eye was swollen shut. Anyways he told me to call him later tonight. Do I call him or not. I wanted him back but then just this morning I decided I wasn't going to put any effort into this anymore. Why does he want me to call him and what is with the stopping by and creating false emergencies?? He will be mad if I don't call him - he is just like that and will think that I don't care. I need advice, quick what do I do?
outdated Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 If you don't want him back anymore than why would you call him? Seems like you do want him back or you wouldn't ask. If you didn't want him back you wouldn't consider calling him...

But I did txt him and then he called me about 12 seconds later! Then, being the strong girl that i am I ended the conversation before he was ready for it to be over and then he asked me to have lunch with him on Saturday. I said "call me Sat and we'll see". Yikes! What am I doing? I am not going to get excited over this. I am going to always remember that this guy has broken my heart not once but twice - in this case third time will not be the charm! I am going to talk to him when he calls and see him (sometimes) when he asks and let him do the work. If he wants me bad enough he will tell me! Thanks for the perspective!
