Gaeta Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 So how do you Libra ladies handle gemini? Im unfortunately the least compatible sign with Gemini, I'm a pisces. But I would like to think that astrology is not the end of this. There is no 'handling' necessary. When you are compatible with someone it just unfolds naturally. There are other aspects of a person that will make her/him compatible with you. His up bringing, his rank in the family, age, past experiences, etc. The man I am dating is a Gemini and I being a Libra that makes us compatible in theory but what makes us really compatible is we were both raised in rural areas, we are both the oldest of our siblings, we're both from tight knitted families. Our values are similar. I actually believe the rank you have in the family while growing up is more important. As my bf and I, being both the oldest of the family, we both never were the center of attention while growing up. We both had to grow up fast, take care of our younger siblings, we had to share with our younger siblings, nothing really belonged to us, our youth was all about our little brothers and sisters. I think that has precedent over astrological signs. If my Gemini man was the last of 5 siblings we would not be compatible. 1

Stop believe in the Zodiac and start believing in the person. 4
brothers343 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 I'm a scorpio and my wife is a Gemini. Signs that clash but we've been together 14 years. Don't put to much heart into signs....unless you see one that says (wrong way). 2
Author hugsandkisses Posted April 7, 2016 Author Posted April 7, 2016 Ah, yea....I'm definitely overthinking this. Whatever happened to just have fun and go with the flow in the beginning. The moment I catch feelings for someone is the moment I overthink things and it all goes down hill. I'm throwing all this astrology to trash. Btw, how do I slow things down with him without him thinking that I lose interest? Should I have an open conversation with him to let him know I want to take it down a notch but I'm still very much interested in him and I want to remain not seeing anybody else.

You want to slow down from what? you only had 2 dates.
Author hugsandkisses Posted April 7, 2016 Author Posted April 7, 2016 Oh Gaeta, a lot more than just 2 dates. First date he stayed over and we fooled around. 2nd date was the whole three days Friday, Sat and Sunday spending together, brunching and going to the shooting range to lying in bed and watching Netflix and talk and do absolutely nothing. Then I drove to see him again 2 days ago, so we have seen each other 5 times now for the past week only :/.
len51 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 First off, Astrology is not a real thing. It is a belief. With a little research based on scientific fact, you will learn this but if you wish to believe it, it is your right and I will defend that right. I did think asking for zodiac signs is no longer a thing people do. I have not heard anyone mention zodiac signs for a very long time. Even the newspapers around here stopped printing horoscopes. I am a Gemini and love heavy discussions. In fact, it is rare to find someone who also loves discussing heavy topics like the birth of the universe. Quantum Physics, life on other planets, human evolution, genetics, can man go faster than the speed of light, etc.. What you consider heavy is subjective. Please do not let astrology guide your life. Make your own decisions and choices and you will do much better in life. I define myself and what I do, not anything else and it has worked out very well for me. You know this boy, so just go with your gut, not zodiac sign. 2
Ruby Slippers Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 The Geminis I know love deep, interesting conversation. And I always get into deep conversation right away, often on the first date. Some of my best memories from early dating are having fascinating conversations about all the big subjects. I love getting to know a man on that level - what he thinks about, how he views the world, approach to life. I think there are kernels of truth in astrology, but it's not a science.

You don't have to spend 3 days there each time you visit. You risk an indigestion soon. Seeing each other 2-3 times a week would be plenty for the first couple of months if it's not too much for you. If he invites you out Saturday, you stay over night and come back Sunday then distance your next date. If he wants to do something Monday then say you can't but would be available Wednesday. Space your dates but always make sure you offer him an alternative a few days later. 1
