Curiousroxy86 Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Would you date a guy who clubs? Would you date a guy who has a lot of female friends Would you date a guy who is close friends with his ex? Would you date a guy who travels a lot? Would you date a guy that has multiple baby mothers? Would you date a guy who doesn't give gifts on Valentine's Day? Why or why not for each answer please
Deidre Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Would you date a guy who clubs? I'm engaged, but I'll answer these...yes to going to clubs. Would you date a guy who has a lot of female friends Yes, but I've always thought it odd when a guy has more female friends than male. It usually means he doesn't get along with men. Would you date a guy who is close friends with his ex? No. Would you date a guy who travels a lot? Yea, but if we don't see each other all that much, it would be hard to keep a relationship going. Would you date a guy that has multiple baby mothers? No. I've dated players, and...never again lol Would you date a guy who doesn't give gifts on Valentine's Day? As long as he doesn't expect one from me. 1

Gaeta Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Would you date a guy who clubs? No, clubbing is a deal breaker to me. It's not the type of lifestyle I want or need. Would you date a guy who has a lot of female friends If his female friends were there before me ok, from when he is in an exclusive relationship with me making new female friends would be seen as inappropriate from me. Would you date a guy who is close friends with his ex? If they had been exs for a long time and know how to be friends in respect of all boyfriends and girlfriends around I would be ok with it. Would you date a guy who travels a lot? No, been there, done that, no more for me thank you. Would you date a guy that has multiple baby mothers? I have several times. Would you date a guy who doesn't give gifts on Valentine's Day? I don't want gifts on V day, I am not American so V day here is about creating romantic moments, not gifts. That being said I expect a gift at Xmas and my birthday.
road Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 (edited) I am not a woman, so.....change the gender. Would you date a guy who clubs? Yes, single men like to hang out where women are. Though I am not a clubber. Would you date a guy who has a lot of female friends? Wants to be exclusive with me the men friends have to go. Would you date a guy who is close friends with his ex? No. Would you date a guy who travels a lot? No. Would you date a guy that has multiple baby mothers? No, no, and no. Would you date a guy who doesn't give gifts on Valentine's Day? VD is not important. Everyday is special. Why or why not for each answer please. Edited April 3, 2016 by road

I dated a guy who had a lot of female friends and they were friends before. It bothered me but I felt I didn't have the right to complain because he was friends with them before me. Anyhoo when we broke up he immediately started dating one of those friends. We were broken up so he have the right to date whoever he wanted after me but I couldnt help get the feeling that they probably romantically connected while we were together smh. I don't think I could do it again personally cause I just hated that nagging feeling while we were together. Thank you for your answers. Very interesting responses.

To clarify your answer to the clubbing question do you mean you don't go to clubs but will talk to a woman who clubs? Also the vday question from a guys perspective. You mentioned everyday is special and if a girl doesn't give a gift your not tripping. Do you give a gift on Valentine's Day to your girl or would you if you had one why or why not?
lilmissjava Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Would you date a guy who clubs? No, not into clubs anymore. The older you get, the more sense it makes to keep your circle small and drama free. Would you date a guy who has a lot of female friends? I think it would be fair if I had a lot of guy friends. You need to be secure with yourself and have trust that they are just that. Female friends. Would you date a guy who is close friends with his ex? If they had children sure, but generally no. In my experiences, ex's have always caused trouble. Would you date a guy who travels a lot? I would, only because I need my alone time. I like exercising my independence. Would you date a guy that has multiple baby mothers? I have raised my kids already and I don't want to be raising more, especially young ones and the myriad of problems that come with each baby mama wanting and needing something over and above what daddy already I would assume provides. Would you date a guy who doesn't give gifts on Valentine's Day? I would prefer no gifts on Valentine's Day. In fact, the only gift I would want from a guy is just to be near and dear.
abby_tx Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Would you date a guy who clubs? I'd prefer not to. I don't think we'd be a good match because I hate clubbing. Would you date a guy who has a lot of female friends Yes. Unless the friendships felt inappropriate Would you date a guy who is close friends with his ex? I'd be fine with them talking now and then, but hanging out would make me uncomfortable Would you date a guy who travels a lot? Depends on how much and what he travels for. I would not date a traveling musician. Would you date a guy that has multiple baby mothers? Never. Would you date a guy who doesn't give gifts on Valentine's Day? Yes. I'm not one for gifts on v-day.
d0nnivain Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 I'm married but I'm answering your Qs on what I did when single. Would you date a guy who clubs? Sure. I like clubs. If the guy always wanted to go without me, no I wouldn't stick around. My experience even with guys I met in clubs is that as we grew into a couple, the clubbing decreased. There were better things to do that were less expensive. Would you date a guy who has a lot of female friends I have lots of male friends so I'd be a hypocrite if I said no. Would you date a guy who is close friends with his ex? Probably not. I do not believe that you can be friends with an EX. I believe you can be polite & cordial. I also understand the need for cooperation if they have kids together but if they are friendly - talk all the time, share social media and spend time together no I would not abide that Would you date a guy who travels a lot? What's "a lot"? What's the duration & frequency of these trips? It would probably be OK. If the travel was for pleasure & I could go, absolutely. Dating a traveler would not be a problem. I would probably need to revisit the issue before I agreed to have kids with somebody who was gone more then they were around making me a de facto single parent, Would you date a guy that has multiple baby mothers? Not in a million years. To me that screams instability & irresponsibility. Would you date a guy who doesn't give gifts on Valentine's Day? Nope I like holidays & gift giving is a big part of that for me. I like giving & receiving gifts & cards. I actually had to "teach" DH to give me cards . It hadn't been something he did but because I explained how happy it makes me, he now enjoys the hunt for the perfect card. His selections have brought tears to my eyes on more than one occasion. In the end though, it doesn't matter what we on LS would do. People need to find partners with whom they are compatible. If like clubs, travel, have multiple baby mammas & hate V-day the secret to your success will be for you to find an SO who shares your view points.
dyna85 Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 This is fun... Would you date a guy who clubs? Yes, but I doubt that's the type of guy to whom I'd be attracted. Would you date a guy who has a lot of female friends Hmm... maybe? I don't think it matters if his friends are female or male or how many he has of each. Would you date a guy who is close friends with his ex? Hmm... maybe? Depends on how she treated him. Would you date a guy who travels a lot? Depends on if it would impact the amount of time I'd be able to spend w/him. Would you date a guy that has multiple baby mothers? No. Not the smartest in my opinion. Would you date a guy who doesn't give gifts on Valentine's Day? Hell no. Lack of generosity kills the mood and attraction for me.
