I asked a friend to help me find a girls name , number or facebook. he asked me whats her major and I was like fashion and she is hot. he went like you are wasting your time she is out of your league. you are an in engineering major introvert and she is the hot girl that is into parties and concerts. i ididnt understand why he was harsh i admit i am introvert few friends but i am very good looking ( i have been told many times) and i catch hot girls staring at me often in university everyday. even taken girls stare at me. why he said so i thought out of league is only for physical appearance and not popularity or coolness. why did he say so was he honest or bit jealous?

Who knows, only he can answer that. If I were you, I would introduce myself to those girls when they were staring at you...you would easily get their name and number.

I'm going to debunk this whole "she/he is out of your league" bull****.

 

No one is EVER out of your league unless you declare it so in your mind. Anyone that does this is already declaring defeat at something they never TRIED to do and will strike out indefinitely. Just try and see how things go.

 

And secondly, this may sound a bit harsh to you, but leave this "friend" of yours. ANYBODY that puts anyone down because they're shooting for success in anything they want to do just because they want to feel better about themselves deserves the axe. This insecurity will most likely build the more time you spend with this friend and this will only drag you down.

 

True friends cheer you on in whatever you want to do and celebrate your successes. If he's not willing to support you, then he needs to go.
