Date ideas for a rainy day?

So I had planned to go to the beach with a girl on a date (been going out for about a month) but when the forecast for the coming week came out it said the day had a 90% chance of rain! So I figured it would be best to reorganise and do something else. Any ideas?

Thanks

Well, it really depends on what the two of you enjoy. Quirky cafe? Dessert parlour? Movie? Indoor games/sports? What does she like doing?

See a pretty active girl, does hockey, rowing, running, horse riding etc, and likes music, she plays the clarinet. So far most of our dates have been pretty out and about, running around where we live, walking and seeing whats around, that sort of stuff. Me, I like a lot of outdoor stuff, camping, hiking, shooting, running etc.

Problem is that it's raining, and we're both outdoors people. I live in Australia so that type of weather this time of year kinda came as a bit of a surprise considering just 3 weeks ago we have a 3 days above 40.

Living in Australia, I would've thought that anything outdoorsy would include running from the giant man eating spiders or fending off the huge car crushing snakes and reptiles. Isn't your primary language screaming? Anyway, as far as wet dates go, then find some nice cafes that overlook the beach maybe, at least then you can make a joke of the fact you're at the beach, but not. Failing that, you say shooting, so why not take her shooting... I'm sure bagging a few deadly creatures will bring you two together even more.

Inside rock climbing. Call ahead, make reservation with a trainer and get your first inside rock climbing together. Apparently it's super fun.

Sounds like good, I'll see if there's anywhere near me.

PS: The dog in your picture looks exactly like mine! So cute
