I moved to a new city and met a guy the night after I got to town. He gave me his number and he said he would love to show me around. Now, mind you, he doesn't have a normal job. He works 5 nights a week, late night, so he spends the mornings sleeping. And he goes to work early in the afternoon. Anyway, we went to dinner the following week. The conversation was great, there were no awkward pauses, it was very comfortable being with him, very natural. At the end of the night he said next time we do something we should go to his side of town. He gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek, and I got out of the car. The next morning I text him and told him I had a great time and we should do it again sometime. He text back and said he enjoyed my company and for sure we should do it again. A couple weeks ago I text him something meant for my best friend, and we laughed it off. He asked how I was, sent a couple texts and back and forth and that was it. It's been a month since our first date, and we haven't had a second. And a couple weeks since our last texts. I don't know if it's because he has a crazy schedule, or if he mentioned the second date out of niceness, but his signals at dinner made me think he was into me. I really like him, but I don't know if I should text him or wait for him to text me. Or if I should just give up on this one.

Sorry but I do not think he is all that into you and not all that bothered.

Let it go.

Don't make this guy the center of your universe. Get out into that new city and explore it. You don't need him to do that. His life might be really crazy right now .

Or he's not interested.

Or he's got a girlfriend or someone who considers herself to be in a relationship with him even if he doesn't.

It was just one meeting, which wasn't a contract for anything further. Just get out and explore your new city.
