UltimatePanacea Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Everyone who's been reading my previous posts know the bittersweet story http://www.loveshack.org/forums/breaking-up-reconciliation-coping/second-chances/571571-how-win-him-back-after-i-cheated about me and this guy that i cheated on...So after some time of no contact we finally met and he ended things with me. I did not even try to stop him cause I knew that I had done. Just when I was ready to move on, a few days later he sends me this text saying that he wants me. I have not yet replied, but I don't understand, if he was so disgusted by me and the things that I had done, if he didn't want to have anything to do with me...WHY would he want to have sex now? I want it too, but I don't know if I should do it...I just think he wants to arrange a friends with benefits type of situation or is it possible that he just wants to end things on a "high note"? Any advice? 1
Empire87 Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Why would he want to have sex one more time with you? Um... Pretty obvious answer. Why would he want a fwb situation if he doesn't want to be your BF anymore? Again... Pretty obvious. Sex without the hassle or responsibilities of a gf? Duh If you've heard of the term "break up sex" then you already have your answer. It's common. Otherwise there wouldn't be a term for it. So if it's common, then you shouldn't be confused as to why your ex would want it. 1

jen1447 Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Some guys get turned on on some level by their wives/GFs cheating on them too. 1
ashley1992 Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 maybe he is still in love with you, break up sex makes u think about everything, it gives u a massive high and hits rock bottom. talking from experiance. i reckon it makes things worse. like right now reality kicks in and i think of wat he did 'cheat'. to be safe just say 'no thanks' and have a nice day lol
loveweary11 Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 I had this experience once too. Broke up with the girl I was most sexually attracted to in my entire life. Had been seeing her for about a year, but there was some dude milling around and I didn't like it, so I dumped her. Apparently, I was the first person to dump her. She reacted very, very strangely (very weird chick to begin with, which is why she was so amazing). Instead of continuing to be hurt or mad, she lured me back into her room, had hours of crazy sex with me, then at the end said, "I didn't get off. I didn't feel anything." My guess was she was trying to hurt me. And that's the last I ever saw of her. The moral is... people do weird stuff. And... when you think you can't have someone anymore, they become more sexually attractive.
Author UltimatePanacea Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 Well it happened, we did have sex, it was awesome at first but then felt painful as hell emotionally...
SammySammy Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Well it happened, we did have sex, it was awesome at first but then felt painful as hell emotionally... How so? Please explain.
Author UltimatePanacea Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 How so? Please explain. Well we were both excited at first, sex was great (as always) then although it was to be expected the parting was really painful...not like I regret doing it but I wish it didn't have to end like that...usually people just have a conversation face to face or over the phone and say goodbye. We just had sex...
kgcolonel Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 OP...am I missing something here or did he fully establish the hookup was indeed the end or do you think he may be having second thoughts? I very well may have missed it and if so, I apologize.

Simon Phoenix Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Well I cheated on him he dumped me but then we both decided to have sex before going our separate ways... Well, considering that you cheated I'd say this was a predictable result. You screwed him over figuratively, he decided to do it to you in a literal sense.

We both knew we were going to call it quits after that....

Well, he wanted one less bang so he could feel like he wasn't completely snookered by you. The fact that you agreed is irrelevant to that thought process.
