FYI I was happy in several relationships that lasted over a year. Some closer to two years. I was happy, it was fun, sex was good - was not looking for anything on the side. As She pressed for more (family time, joint vacations, talk of moving in, talk of marriage) I knew t wasn't for me (for one reason or another).

 

A lot of people are happy when its convenient.

 

That's why I say that talking about is things is so important. It forces the issue that is either being avoided or laying under the surface and you deserve to know whether you are on the same page or not.
