Hard to get over

How does one get over their ex talking to other guys? (Or girls if you're a girl)? Honestly it's what it is and it's bound to happen. Been single for about 2 weeks now and I know my ex is texting and flirting with other people. It's a very hard pill to swallow. Everyone in a breakup will go through this and yes before anyone reassures me yes she is single now as I am too. It's just one of them things I think about and it can ruin my day. Where's someone with advice and logic?

No advice, but I know my ex bf is moving on liking other girls pics in fb etc. The logic I guess id that we have to move on too, in whatever way we can.

I know its very tough. I got dumped recently as well. The pain is strong, especially if you loved that person.

 

Right now, its only been two weeks, you have to let all your pain out. cry, talk to people, and accept it. Don't hold anything in. My break up was bad. I did just that what I told you to do. go to the gym, do aerobics, as its natures anti depressant.

 

After you go through this, just put your foot down and say enough is enough. I made a thread about this.

 

Now? I am bursting with energy and taking names. I am revamping myself. From a new job to new look. Have to take that negative energy and turn it into fuel to better yourself.

It will happen, you will get over them. That is a fact, no matter how long it takes. Knowing about the ex though will always hold you back, so try to remove that knowledge from your life. You're trying to heal, and you can't heal any wound if you keep picking at it.

I've just done the same. Saw her on Tinder, swiped left, and carried on chatting to everyone else I match with.
