A while ago my girlfriend of 4 years split up with me and I never really understood how hard that must of been and I actually feel slightly bad for being so angry with her when she did it.

After seeing a girl for a few months, I kind of realized it wasn't going anywhere for me, the connection just was not their and I didn't think it would be fair to string her a long and so I broke it off.

I have only been seeing this girl for a few months and it has had me up at night worrying about how she'll react and for some strange reason I've found myself wracked with guilt!

I guess I finally realize how hard it is for people to end a relationship and I honestly feel sorry for people ending a serious relationship/marriage even if they do not have feelings for the person anymore, it's still extremely difficult and I definitely appreciate that a lot more.

Just thought I'd share my experience today with you guys! :)

How long were you dating this girl for? How serious was this relationship? I'm just wondering because I've never been a "dumper" but then again I don't really date people serious unless I see marriage potential. If I don't see the potential marriage person I would consider it a fling. I had a fling for two years. But I'm weird. Anyways currently heartbroken because clearly I got dumped so I would like to hear more about this.

I'd rather do the dumping any day. Being dumped leaves you feeling not good enough, with so many questions and never a real reason as to why they walked away (my experience anyway). It does crazy things to your esteem!
