Recently single and miserable!

I got my heartbroken about six weeks ago. I was with the guy for two years and he broke up with me over the phone. This was after I forced it out of him. He was frightened of moving in with me and starting a life together. It was completely out of the blue and I had no idea it was coming.

 

I honestly thought he was the one and we would be together forever. I have been trying to find places to talk to people for ages!!

 

I have been going through various emotional stages over the past few weeks. I am at a stage now where I miss him and kinda want him back. He did intially ask me back but this was after he had blamed the problems in our relationship on me and created an online dating profile!!!

 

Can anyone sympathise? I am 29, a woman and live in England

From a male point of view, i do this a lot. I get used to having a girl around, i feel contained. And then il break it off, and then a few weeks later once i don't have them around, realise how much i care about them. It sucks but it's what men do.

You were right not to let him back in. He wants to come back, blame it all on you and when he does that he will just do the same again.

 

Go NC. He will definitely be in contact. And when he does, take it very slowly. Be firm in what you need from him and make him suffer a bit

the heartache is still fresh. You feel blindsided You had all these couple-y plans, living together & moving forward but now you find yourself suddenly single. In the long run it will be best but for now it will suck. Do try to keep yourself busy.
