ZHguy Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Five weeks ago this Friday my GP (clinic Doctor) referred me to a therapy center. I was told that I'd be contacted within five weeks. I have never been contacted. When or if Friday comes and I don't get a response, what should I do? Contact the GP, or the therapy center? I can't wait any longer

I can't wait any longer I would call them and keep calling until you get an answer. A lot of times, messages can fall through the cracks. But you've got to try and get their attention. Five weeks is an awfully long time to wait for a therapist. I'd also say that calling your GP may not be a bad idea. The may be able to refer you to a more responsive clinic.
