awkwardandhandsome Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 When should you ask a girl on a date? Is there anyway about going about it or should you just ask?
darkbloom Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Texting is so lame to set up a date. Pick the phone up and CALL her. It shows you are genuinely interested and vested in going on a date with her. You will also know if she wants to go with you based on her reaction. Texting doesn't give you anything to go off of.

Thing is I've never met her in person, I match her on tinder and I got her number and texted for a few days... so calling would be kind of awkward I think.

Just be direct. "Hey, are you busy Friday? Care to meet me for a drink at (insert name of establishment)?" Or something like, "Let's go grab dinner at this place, are you free on Saturday?" There's no special way, just ask. 1
ff12343 Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 I like being direct but age plays a factor. If you are out of high school then just simply ask how coffee on "DAY X" sounds? Once confirmed, PLEASE LIMIT how much you text and talk to this person. Save all talk for in person. Texting is a tool for getting the person out on a date. Not chatting up a useless storm. You will only hurt yourself. Good luck. 1
