Called a girl and got a second date (very excited)

Was about to hang up and she said "do you miss me" i said "uuhh suure?"

She laughed and said "nice answer lol"

I said "ha im sorry i meant yes i miss you so much i just dont know how to deal"

she said "awwwkward"

i said" its called sarcasm"

she said"awkward well im gonna go now bye"

I was like wtf?

She came off as very sarcastic on our first date and even got mine

Last night she texted asking me if i missed her and i said "oh maybe a bit" and she said "how rude"

She has to know i was joking right?

I dont wanna be like "i was being sarcastic" and come off as insecure

"Do you miss me" after just 1 date?

My response would be, "I barely know you since we've only spent one date together but I am hoping to get to know you better next saturday, see you then!"

She sounds highly insecure and clingy to be asking that after just 1 date.

Is this the one you blew you load with too quickly? If that's the case, I'd say you both sound a little insecure. It sounds like she's messing with you.

Be glad you got a second date.

I guess, unless she is mentally ill then "Do you miss me?" is a joke and is meant to be taken a such, it is all just banter.

Banter is good, sarcasm is usually good unless it verges on the cruel or is deliberately meant to hurt, anger is not good.

You handled it pretty well, even with English not being my native language I can tell you're teasing. She should have laughed at your last comment and change subject.

she said "awwwkward"

That part here is where SHE blew everything up. Someone calling you on something so silly that was meant to tease is not worth your precious time. She's an immature drama queen.

OMG what an attention seeker she is!! How old is she? 12? Feels like she is still in her phase of 'boys are yucky'. Really!!! don't waste your time with her please. Why in the world would you want to be with someone like this? Dating is suppose to be fun! we make each other laugh, make each other feel special, not this!!

To me it sounds like you're both joking and are missing each other's humor.

Don't worry so much about it, jeez.

Ever think she might be playing along?

Dear lord she sounds annoying.

Asking someone "do you miss me?" will most likely always end up in some sort of awkward exchange:rolleyes:

So true.

Sarcasm can be a powerful tool, but it must be used correctly especially with people that aren't all that bright. It's easily misunderstood.
