K2z Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 First dream I've had of her in a long time, if ever. The ex. I dreamt I was staying in a room of the house in Europe where she is (presumably) now with the guy she married. The house was over the top. Enormous, ornate, rich. Like a freakin' Versailles, only slightly less foppish. As in, the new husband is pimpin' rich. I was very shy and stayed in my room... I found the whole thing very awkward. But she and the husband would putter around, going from the bedroom to the kitchen. I suppose a shrink would say I'm finally processing things on a subconscious level... finally realizing deep down she is with someone else. But I'd be grateful if my subconscious would spare me similar performances in the future. 2
sorano Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I also had a second dream of my ex last night. I never had this happen to me. This is the second time. I wake up feeling like crap. It just ruins my day. On top of that, it happened on the weekend. which are already bad bc I am used to doing things with my gf. 1
Sipping Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 The dreams dont last long guys, it happens to us all. but you need to get it off your mind during the day by keeping more busy. It does stop though and becomes a rare thing. 1

Author K2z Posted February 29, 2016 Author Posted February 29, 2016 God. Talk about floodgates. I was doung decently there for a while. Even was managing to dismiss and mildly despise the ex as a flighty twit. Then this dream. Feels like twenty steps backwards.
kasop Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 At first the dreams were intense and everynight. Now i dont dream of her at all. It takes time.
Author K2z Posted February 29, 2016 Author Posted February 29, 2016 I really resent the old dream factory. This has been a very sad day... back in obsession mode. Yeccch!
ksol9 Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I've been dreaming about my ex every night for the past 5 days. Some good some bad. I wake up relieved that it was just a dream. Then I realize the reality of my situation is no better. He's still not here and I have the whole day ahead of me. Who knows why we have dreams. If there is even meaning behind it. Maybe it is your sunconscious mind finally processing what is going on.
TheScientist Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I have had that before, dreaming of my ex from years ago, and his new wife and how we became friends (because my ex once said we were similar and would probably be great friends) It ruins your whole day and feels like likes cruel torture!!
