Shiggs Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Hey guys and gals, I just want to say thanks for helping me out in my previous post earlier this month about my breakup and advice. I just want to let you know that I'm doing much better as NC has really been helping me (2 months NC) and I wanted to share a link that helped me in conjunction with the stickied NC guide. There's a link I recently found that has 10 break up boundaries that have really helped me in the BU process. It might have been on here before, and if so, I apologize for putting the link up again! Here it is! 10 Essential Breakup Boundaries | Baggage Reclaim by Natalie Lue Even though I am new to the site, I hope that you all will read this and that it helps you in your BU/coping process! 2

VonLagos Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 This has really helped me over the last few days - it really puts things into perspective. It also helps me to remember that there were times before I was in a relationship were I was a single, confident, powerful, happy and fulfilled person! Thanks for sharing!
Author Shiggs Posted February 29, 2016 Author Posted February 29, 2016 It also helps me to remember that there were times before I was in a relationship were I was a single, confident, powerful, happy and fulfilled person! I think this is definitely the ultimate stage I'm trying to reach when I'm coping. I looked back to see what kind of person I was before I got into a relationship and it's pretty hard because that version of me was much younger, so I'm in the process of rediscovering myself and seeing what kind of person I want to be like. I think that outlook is a positive and an empowering one to have! We'll get there eventually!!
