My ex and I broke up 4 months ago, we were dating for only 2 months but we got along pretty well; I decided to breakup with him because he told me he was not ready to be in a relationship, he told me it was not fear to me and although it broke my heart we ended in good terms and decided to stay friends, I texted him three days after telling him I still wanted to try it but he refused me. At first I was not OK with the breakup but now I am fine, I did not contact him again and he never contacted me. Last week I saw him with his new girlfriend and it did not effect on me so I am very happy to say I do not have feelings for him anymore. The thing is we attend to the same college and study the same degree, so I see him in the hallways almost every day, at first we would greet normally saying 'hi' and with a kiss in the cheek, but lately he has been ignoring me, I would smile at him and say 'hi' but he would just look the other direction and I think it is really rude of him, he would greet everyone of my friends and awkwardly ignore me, I do not understand why he is acting so rude nor if it has something to do with is new girlfriend. Does anyone may have an idea of why he is acting like that?

Thank you.

I think it's because he is in a relationship. He feels it is disrespectful to his girlfriend to be saying hi to you or continuing any conversation for that matter. I think his behavior is out of respect for his relationship and his girlfriend.

He has issues.

Either with the way he deals with breakups,

Or

His current GF in jealous of you

Thank you! I was guessing it was something like that, still though it was a little rude to do not reply a simple 'hello' ... I guess I kind of understand, Thank you for your opinion! have a great day c:
