Bar/pub that I can naturally sit next to (rather than face to face) her in Chicago?

I always feel it's easy to break the ice, find convo topics, and increase intimacy when I sit next to a girl.

 

But I have relatively little experience with downtown pub/bar. Watershed.. wasn't good for side-by-side chat (at least in where we were).

 

Do you have any recommendation in Chicago area?

You should have done a recon mission before you take a date somewhere. You should have a few regular spots in a couple of different towns that you know are conducive to having a hot date.

 

Go out and scout places. Just take a mate, and go on a pub crawl. Stay in each place for one drink in order to take in the vibe.

Take her to a sporting event, then it's natural and you can pull her in close to explain what's going on.
