Author Lady2163
I asked this question once before, albeit for men 40+. Like you, my hobbies are mostly feminine in character and the advice I got was to focus on masculine hobbies to meet men. So yeah, it's gonna be hard. lol I've got a couple of good ideas from the suggestions here! I was the only daughter in a sport oriented, slightly male chauvinistic household. We were not outdoorsy people and there are four seasons here. So, I spent a lot of time entertaining myself and developed some craft and solo hobbies. Nothing that really appeals to most men! I'm also on the cusp age-wise where things can go either way. I can date a man who is does place importance on his partner and the home, or I can run into one who does believe his primary purpose is to bring a check and his dick and that is it. Woman takes care of everything else. Most of the friends my age also have either extreme. A lot of them are sports widows or hunting widows. One friend who does not have children at home, has a husband who has activities 6 out of seven nights a week and often Saturday during the day. It has been like this for their entire marriage. She has picked up a few activities of her own, but is seriously considering divorce. While she hates the thought of starting over, she just can't stand how alone she is in her marriage.
