Spacefly37 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 I've been dating a woman for about 3 weeks almost, who I've known for a few years. We feel very comfortable around each other and have opened up a lot in our first few dates. She's about 10 years younger than me and we both just got out of serious relationships somewhat recently. This past weekend into Monday we had a couple of light text interactions mostly engaged by myself. I tried calling Sunday night and left a quick message "hey just felt like chatting. call me back when you can". No biggie. So the next night Monday I texted about a band we like on the radio. Brief conversation. I figured I'd give her a couple days since she seems busy. Anyway, we had talked about getting together this Saturday night but never made solid plans since she has school work like crazy right now. On one hand I feel like I should wait it out long as it takes for her to get back. On the other, being a guy and used to chasing women...which sucks, I want to text her, see how her week is going and maybe try and call her later. Any educated ideas? 1
SunnyWeather Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 not sure what you are waiting for. are you waiting for her to initiate the date? how about you set something up specific, for example: how about meeting at ---- for a drink on ----? I'm with the others too about calling to set it up. 1
