GarrusVakarian Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Went on a date with a girl this weekend. Drop dead gorgeous. We had a great time. Drinks, dinner and back to hers. Go home she is messaging me asking where do we go from here. Tell her we are definitely going out again. Arrange a meet for the next day. Few hours before she cancels. Has to see a friend. Lame excuse. I ignore her crappy blow out and go out instead. Had a good time as it goes. Now been defriended by her on FB. Heard nothing since, doubt I will?. Guessing she got cold feet?. Anyone else had similar **** happen?.
ilovemefirst Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 sounds like she is seeing someone else. NEXT!
Toodaloo Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 So you expect her to ditch a friend in need for some random bloke she has only just met? GV get a dictionary and look up the word "compassion" and "priorities" and "respect". If you want to be this girls priority your going to have to put in more than one night. If you spoke about me this way you would be out on your ear faster than a flea. 2
soleilesquire Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 It was one date, and now there won;t be another one. Happens all the time. No one is wrong or crappy or to blame. It's life. 3
Author GarrusVakarian Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 Did you meet her online? Yes that's it
smudge21 Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 If all she'd done is chosen a friend over you and maybe not been in touch for a while I'd be leaving it with her but expecting some contact, maybe chasing up one time to see what happened. However, to unfriend you on FB straight away, well that sounds like another man, maybe an ex, has come into her life and the last thing she wants is you contacting her now. Either way, don't stress it and move on.
SwordofFlame Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Yes that's it She probably met someone else or was multi-dating. That's online dating for ya.

Anyone else had similar **** happen?. Back to hers = sex? Possibilities are... 1) If you had sex, the sex to her wasn't good and she dropped you. 2) No sex, just some hooking up, she wanted the free meal, company for a night and that's it. I can ensure you that her deleting you from her FB means she wants nothing to do with you again. 1

All these responses are valid.... however, if she thought the sex was bad, or is dating another guy, why ask when she and OP will meet up again and agree to another date the following day? Makes no sense. OP, my guess is she liked you, but got a better offer the next day... and was pissed off that she received no reply from you when she told you she had to meet up with a friend and unfriended you.
