Assuming you can only see eachother a few weeks a year. No clear end in sight. How long would you be willing to wait to be reunited?

If it had a clear end in sight -- say during the 4 years of school or a military commitment -- OK fine. The open ended BS is where I draw the line.

I did a bi-coastal LDR (NY metro to So Cal) for about 2 years. It was supposed to end 6 months later when I graduated.

My situation is a little different, as in I can spend three months (at least) straight with him every year. We however do not have that clear be together permanently end in sight either. We have been together for three years, and we have a five year plan and I am sure that will work. But when I think about it; it is not a deadline. It is a goal. If after that time somehow we still cannot permanently live together, from both sides it will never be a reason to break up.

edit: at this moment, I'm sure we are willing to wait til we can make it happen :).
