Woggle Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Somebody who is a mutual friend of both me and her sister told me that she was arrested because she was high as a kite and slashed a woman's face with a razor after a bar fight. The woman supposedly needed 200 stitches and they are holding her without bail. Since this is her third violent offense so will be going away for a very long time. Am I wrong for being somewhat glad she is back in prison? This way she won't be able to track me down and is still clearly a violent and dangerous person. They should have never paroled her. 2

Oh, geeze, I'd sure be glad she's going to be locked up for a long time. I'd be unapologetically thrilled. Thank heavens it wasn't you that she sliced up. She's a nightmare. 1
SammySammy Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 No. It's perfectly reasonable to be concerned about your safety. Especially considering she's obviously unstable and out of control. 2
CarrieT Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 You are not wrong, Woggle. In fact, I am glad for you, your wife, and your future safety. 1
Satu Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 She is exactly where she needs to be. I love happy endings. 1
Tayla Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 its okay to have safety validated. She will likely feel prison is her training ground based on the offense. Wonder what prompted the altercation... Nonetheless... maybe this person will be able to learn better ways to solve conflict... clearly violence is rarely the answer... 1
Author Woggle Posted February 20, 2016 Author Posted February 20, 2016 She got 200 stitches and she's being held without bail? Seems unfair. My ex is being held without bail. Her victim is not being charged with anything and probably is still at the hospital. 1
