Abi.b Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 me and my ex broke up a year ago and he wanted us to stay friends and see what happens later, we were in along distance relationship and that what caused problems ,we were talking from once and a while, and it seems that he was still waiting for me but i didn't know that i don't read minds i was thinking that he forgot me along time ago because he wasn't contacting me for months sometimes. two months ago he was talking to me in away like lovers do and then he said that he has a date tomorrow ,i asked him about it and he said that it was with a woman (i found out later that he didn't have a date), i asked him why then you are talking to me and he said that we are living far away from each other and we will never going to meet and be together and that our ways don't meet that is the fact and we should accept it. i sent him a message after two days telling him that we will never going to talk again because i cant move on while talking to him and then i blocked him every where, after two weeks i unblocked him and then i started to receive messages from him that he miss me and had dreams about me, i answered his 3rd message because i hate to ignore anyone but after i answered he ignored me after a few days i blocked him again and after a month i unblocked him and after a few days he sent me a message saying "where are you you've been disappeared for a long time..." , i told him politely that we should stop talking but he ignored me again. i just don't understand why is he ignoring my replies and even not seeing them , what does he want from me???

Look, this "relationship" / "friendship" whatever it is, is not improving your quality of life. You would be better off without him in your life. Less stress, less hassle, less time wasted on the computer. You're gaining nothing from your interactions with him. Just block him for good and walk away form the computer.

Stop making empty threats. If you're only doing it to get a reaction out of him, it's not working. When you say you are going to block, stay blocked. He doesn't take you seriously and will keep baiting you. i just don't understand why is he ignoring my replies and even not seeing them , what does he want from me??? He ignores your replies because when you do reply, he gets validation that you're still there to provide him attention, an ego boost that you're still stuck on him. He gets what he wants and ignores you until the next time he needs to get a boost again. Unblocking and blocking is a sign that you're still affected. Clearly no matter what you've done, the situation has never changed. Unless you like staying confused, block him and actually mean it this time.
