itsdinaah Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 I've never had a boyfriend longer than 3 months. I meet a guy and everything happens really fast. He proclaims he loves me first and I say it back. But the the guy starts getting distant and I eventually break up with him. This has been the case in most of my past relationships. The other ones because of circumstances we couldn't be together. How do I break this cycle so I can have a lasting relationship? What tips would you offer?
Gold Pile Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Tell them you have a huge inheritance coming in 5 years.
d0nnivain Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 When you feel things speeding up, slow them down. Don't say ILY for the 1st 90 days. & don't believe men who say it that early. 1

How to make relationships last longer -- There is no little blue pill for relationships But, it's not about making a relationship last longer. It's about giving it an opportunity to develop by not smothering it, not over investing, by keeping sex out of it until a strong connection is made, by not chasing a person who seems to have pulled away and being patient and just waiting for a couple of days or so, to see if they resolve whatever was causing them to pull away, not making assumptions, communicating well and by managing expectations -- don't expect a guy you've been dating for a few weeks to do things that a boyfriend would do or expect things to happen that would normally happen in a more established relationship. In other words, don't rush it. 1
