Ilovebonbond Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 So i just started working in a call centre about a month or so now and from the first day i went in for an interview i noticed this one guy and havent been able to get him out of my head since ,he seems like a really calm grounded and nice person who i could get to really like ,something about his vibe connects with me ,problem is we have never talked ,we only both work 3hour shifts daily at night ,and its in a busy noisy call centre ,he works for a different department so he sits 2 rows behinds me and we arent facing each other so i cant exactly establish eye contact ,i have never seen him go for a cigerrette break so cant get a chance to talk there and we barely get breaks at all since our shifts are short so we cant get to chat and talk in the cafe or anything like that,he pretty much leaves as soon as hes done with work ,like everyone else and at this point all i know is his first name ,i cant exactly just walk up to his desk and casually strike up a conversation because its so busy and we have to stay on the phones all the time its full of people in there as well who are mostly always sat all the time and i would just die of nerves and anxiety if i did that,i have seen him gmance at me a few times but i couldnt read into his gazes because i dont know him well yet , ,so im stuck and cant get him out of mind ,so please any suggestions and help ??
LadyDeadpool Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Either ask him out directly, or find a reason to ask him a question. I don't know, something simple like "hey, do you know if (insert bosses name here) will be in tomorrow?" Or even just generic questions about work. It would be a simple way to start a conversation, and since you just started there, he won't be too confused as to why you are asking him. That way at least if he doesn't take the bait, once you build up the confidence to be more direct you won't be a complete who-the-heck-is-she. + arrive a little earlier to have this convo (since you said it's busy) or plan your exit so you see him before he leaves.
