legless40 Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Hi all and Happy Valentine's Day to you all. You heart felt lovelies. No thread as yet so I guess I will start the discussion on whether or not to send a valentine's message/card/other wishes to an ex during LC. (Not NC I'm presuming). To start off I'll share as you may know that I'm in LC with an ex on good terms. Added note I forgot to get her a card last year, which upset her - the beginning of our fall I guess, I've learnt my lesson. Been split for 6 months but maintained LC. Last contact last Tuesday. Thoughts? And how are you planning to act on this day? 1
CarrieT Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Nope. V-Day is for loving, committed relationships. 2
Satu Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 This is a bad idea. Valentines are for couples, and you are single.
Author legless40 Posted February 14, 2016 Author Posted February 14, 2016 She is an ex- so no. If anything a phone call = a real voice. Unfortunately i no longer have her number. 1
Simon Phoenix Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Awful, awful, awful idea. You're aren't a couple, don't act like one. 1
brothers343 Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Very bad idea.....let bygones be bygones.
Author legless40 Posted February 14, 2016 Author Posted February 14, 2016 I'm getting a definite vibe here
BC1980 Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Unfortunately i no longer have her number. The fact that you don't have her number should be a clue. If you don't have her number, you aren't really a part of her life are you? So it would seem pretty odd to send a Valentine's Day card to her.
TaraMaiden2 Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 I'm getting a definite vibe here Good. Keep going.......
Author legless40 Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 Didn't send. I feel there are details I left out... I.e. recent contact and how it was. But I guess it was my mind playing tricks on me. Wishing. Didn't send anything in the end. Thanks for the support.
