It's friday and haven't ordered anything online yet.

Any ideas for last minute valentine gift?

Also, how the hell do you remember these dates when your gf is expecting a gift - not just valentines?

You put the dates in the calendar on your phone with reminders a week in advance.

As for a gift, you go to a store. Get a card & a heart shaped box of chocolate. Viola! You are all set for Valentine's Day. No fuss. No muss.

Have a good time.

First, what's your lady's love language?

If its:

-Words of affirmation - if she appreciates words, no matter what else you decide to do for her, make sure you get her a card with some heartfelt words from you. Or tell her verbally.

-Acts of service - do something nice for her like draw her a romantic bath

-Receiving gifts - give her a thoughtful gift tailored to her personality

-Quality time - spend the day with her and have a good plan

-Physical touch - hold her hand, give her a massage

Of course, doing all of the above throughout your relationship would be ideal. Depending on her primary language(s), she will be most touched if you "speak her language". Just some things to keep in mind on the consumerist's day of romance.

From experience the language is more like 'as seen on tv' : flowers+chocolates+dress/jewellery

Its not the buying I mind ... its just the bloody hassle of finding something each time! ( and on time)

I wish someone just did it for me :(

It really is the thought that counts. You don't have to go the traditional route, honestly. Some girls want flowers and/or chocolates; others will be okay with a card or a phone call. Some people don't even celebrate the holiday, and that's perfectly fine. This will be my first Valentine's, and my partner's company is all I want  Anything else is a bonus.

Of all of the holidays, Valentines day has always been the "easiest" one of them all.

Traditionally it was a card, flowers and/or chocolate and usually a nice dinner or something. Its the original Netflix and chill holiday.

It sounds like the bar has been raised for some of the younger crowd and now it seems to be more of a source of anxiety.

As far as remembering the days, write them down,OP, write them down.
