alicia24 Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 I got dumped. I hate guys. He tells me NOW that he is not looking for a serious relationship after 7 months of dating. He's a confirmed bachelor. I dont think he will ever want a girlfriend. So my heart is broken yet again, and now i cant eat, or even look at myself. Life sucks, men suck, I'm staying single forever. I cant deal with the heartache.

Do you want to talk about what lead up to this? Brian
DacaInaru Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Alicia don't blame yourself.. as women many times.. at the end of a relationship we think "What did I do wrong?" meanwhile the guy's thinking.. "Its her fault" we've got to stop blamming ourselves for endings.. Life is full of endings.. either relationships/work/deaths/ friends/etc.. we can use it as a way to learn and get back up on our feet or we can let it bring us down and we wallow for ages.. Get up girl.. so its over.. his loss.. chaulk it up as a learning experience and forge forward. Stay strong.
FLOWERS4U Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 I so hear u poor thing! If he's gone and u accept it, then eat, party -dance and have fun with those who want to be around you, your friends ...many other men would probably love the chance to get with you or to discover you...I got dumped w/out reason, just no call back - we dated for the past year on and off. In anycase men can be jerks - so can woman so your living life hun! We all have to go thru it sometimes and what goes down must go up....just try to keep it real. best to u
kellyp1 Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 I feel your pain, especially tonight. I got the "I think you are more into me than I am into you speech". Then I got the back pedal after the words came out of his mouth (maybe it's just because you are more open then me, I like that about you, blah, blah, blah...) - probably worried that he wouldn't have a date when he wanted one. I should show you his emails pursuing me too. I was thinking how I was liking him a little more each time I saw him. He must have been thinking, wow, this chick is really into me, I could probably get something better. I share your complete frustration. These guys don't deserve the attention they are getting from us. It doesn't make it hurt any less or stop any tears from falling though. Consider me sharing a virtual bottle of wine and a few tears with you, Alicia!
