When it comes to dating and being in relationships for all of you, which method did you use to find your partner, found them online, through an app, or in the real world, at work, in a public place, mall, concert, club, bar, family gathering, friends party, etc.

Is there really a bad way of using any of these methods to finding someone or the best way to do it? What do you think?

The good way is having a good life and bringing people into it.

The bad way is being boring.

The medium doesn't matter.

Question; How do you Date?

Poorly..(haha)

Past dalliances/relationships have been a product of mutual friends, keeping an eye open at nightclubs my friends and I used to frequent and also by slowly getting to know people from dating websites.

The people I've dated, we've generally gone for drinks, had a walk round local areas of interest (museums, parks, outdoorsy stuff), gone for dinner..then moved into more personal settings..each other's homes...kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms.

I'm not sure if this has answered any of your question.

I think it's important to expect good things to happen. It sounds trite and cheesy but it's true, and is/should be applicable to all aspects of life.

My three LTR's were with people from real life circles of friends etc.

I tried OLD for the first time last June, two prospects and a handful of dates each, nothing significant came of those. I think I need to re-evaluate my standards.

I reiterate, I think the only person that would date me with my standards being so high is myself.

It's a crap shoot. I met my husband while I worked at a club....but we also had mutual friends so that helped out a lot.

I'm kind of like you in a way. I'm not even trying to judge anyone but I like a certain guy I want there to be a good emotional and intellectual connection. I haven't met a guy who pushes my buttons in that way yet. I'm not a looks queen either. Oh and previous long term relationships came from real life interactions - meeting them through friends.

Idk much about dating. But you use all the ways to meet people until you find that person who u really click with. The bars clubs anywhere. You have no idea where you may find the right person. So search all avenues.
