calvin94 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 My ex broke up with me about 4 months ago out of no where (to me), she said she wanted to be single. The first 3 months were extremely difficult for me, but January seemed to be a bit better. We haven't talked in a month, it was always her who broke NC, and for some reason, the past week or so, I've started thinking about her a lot during the day, as well as having dreams about her and our past at night.. Anyone know why this is happening? I don't want her back because of how she went about the break up and everything else. Is this just a little speed bump in the moving on process?

Probably just part of the process. I've had those dreams. They suck haha.

I wouldn't read into it. Dreams don't necessarily "mean" anything, they can just be the subconscious working out problems that the conscious mind can't. So even if you're not necessarily thinking as much about your ex during the day, your sleep brain is taking care of it. My ex broke up with me 5 months ago, and I still have dreams about him. I had one last night, we'd gone bowling. So, who knows. I wouldn't read too much into it. There's really nothing you can do about them. 1
Toodaloo Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 I had a couple of weird erotic dreams about my ex... I was glad to wake up!!! Don't worry its normal. Make sure you occupy your mind with other things. You will be dreaming you are a pirate in mortal combat with the Spanish armada in no time! 1
Wuku Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Dreamt of my ex last night too. Horrible when you wake up and everything was just a dream!
