Big age gap??

What do you think about a 25 year old dating and being pregnant by a 43 year old man? Is it wrong?

 

This comes up weekly. No its not wrong as long as you're happy with it.

Yes. I feel my parents wont accept it and I am worried. A lot of my friends are judgmental about it and wont talk to me anymore because of this relationship

 

You are about to become a mom. The time to function as a mature independent adult is NOW. You don't have another choice because a new life is about to be your responsibility.

 

The age gap exists & so does this pregnancy. Have you & the baby's father talked about what you want? Marriage? Termination? Co-parenting? Support? etc. The decisions you make are important. Other people's opinions are meaningless.

 

If you act maturely and with a plan, your parents will either have to accept your adult decisions or never have a relationship with their grandchild. If you come running to them for financial and emotional assistance because you can't handle this on your own, you are all in trouble: especially this baby. In that case consider adoption.

I find that very odd, that your friends suddenly abandoned you because you were dating an older man. Sounds like how a 14 year old would act, not adults.

 

 

But then again, the way you are acting, scared to tell your parents sounds very adolescent too. You are pregnant and dating a man who is middle aged, it might be time to start acting like an adult.
