jumpman23 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Met a lady on tinder. Dated for three months and I realized maybe we should be friends as I felt she was emotionally distant. She agreed that is probably fine as the chemistry was slow to develop. I made the decision to end the relationship but now I would like to get back with her. I've been out of this dating game for 6 years. I don't know what to say to her to re-establish a relationship. That was an issue in my past dating life not being direct. Ive texted her in the past week casually keeping in contact which she reciprocates and responds. Should i just ask her to catch up, grab a drink, dinner, or let her know I still have feelings and would like to get to know her more?

I think you answered your own question. def take her out and treat her to a dinner and let her know how you feel. I actually miss hearing men telling me their feelings every once in a while.
Scarlett.O'hara Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 If you both agreed to end it because there was little chemistry and she was emotionally distant, why would you want to try again? Serious question. Is it because you are lonely, prepared to settle for less, or do you genuinely miss her and realize you made a mistake? I'm not asking you to change your mind, just think about what you are doing before you act. It doesn't sound like you were that into each other, and you would think after three months you would both have a good idea how you felt about each other. In answer to your question though, I think asking her out for drink would be a good icebreaker.
