LouLoves Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I've been talking with this girl for about 3 weeks now and we've been on two dates, it's been said that she keeps talking about me to all her friends and she told them all about our date and that she really seems to like me, and I believe she does but one problem is that she's from an indian culture where as I am not so she and I are worried that her father/uncle/grandmother might not accept me due to this reason. What can I do to get them to accept me? Because I have real feelings for her. Another thing I need help with is how can I tell her this? I want to move us to the next step and become "official" and start going out as boyfriend and girlfriend although we've been called this on our dates by people before I want it to be real. How can I broach this subject to her? Also due to the fact that she hasn't told her dad she's worried if he'll see me with her so it's hard for us to see each other and we've only seen each other twice outside of our dates, due to what her dad might do if he found out. Any help/advice is appreciated
d0nnivain Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Slow down. Take your time. Get to know her. Don't rush things. Do be courtly & treat her respectfully. Unless they are prejudice, her family should accept you because you are a nice person who treats their loved one well. 1
