Yookie Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 I'm considering getting back to online dating and in the past I had some negative experiences with my pictures being used without my permission. In one case, I saw my pictures on a different profile (that wasn't mine). In another case, I met a guy once from the site who happened to be friends with someone I know in real life. Well we didn't meet again after the first time but I found out from the mutual friend that he had a picture in his wallet of me (printed from my profile) and was showing it around to people like I was his girlfriend. So I was wondering if it would be weird to watermark my profile pics as an attempt to discourage unauthorized use of my pictures. I know watermark will probably not stop people who have the software and skill to remove the watermark but perhaps it will deter most people like the situations above. Most importantly, I want to know if potential dates who see the watermark would be turned off by it. What do you guys think? Would it bother you to see this?
