How many of you have gotten back with an ex more than twice?

 

 

And why?

I have gotten back together with my wife twice since we separated in May of 2014. I explained it all in a post earlier. I did it because I love her very much and want to stay married to her if I could. She wants to get back together and try again now, but I am very wary of giving it another shot. Just don' think I can trust her with all of her back and forth

The second chance is the one that comes immediately after the last chance, so I think the numbering system needs to be rethought.

Never ever would I do this. Breaking up once can be a mistake -- sometimes a mulligan is all you need -- but anything more than that is trying to desperately cram a square peg into a round hole. It becomes a codependent, destructive, overdramatic breakup-makeup relationship. These relationships are terrible.
