Persiancat Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 So i was visiting the city (i live 6 hours away) and ended up having a date with this guy. We met for dinner at 7pm. He did touch my arm a few times to get my attention and laughed at all my stupid jokes. By the end of the date i was supposed to meet my sister (who would take me back to her place), so he offers to drop me there. He then asks me when I'm leaving and i let him know in 2 days and then hes like why don't you come by Melissas tmrw and we can catchup (i have a mutual close friend who lives near him and its like 2 hours away). I just grumbled that she lives the other end of town (she really does) ! And he just smiled. So he dropped me to where my sis was who was with her boyfriend at a restaurant. He comes up and meets both of them and then ends up joining us for dessert!! Lot of funny conversations. An hour later, He decides to leave, he hugs them bye nice to meet you! And does this half hug with me and asks me again when I'm leaving to which i say I'll text you. So i do text him that 'm leaving and it was great meeting him, to which he says it was great meeting you too and keep in touch! How did that go exactly. I'm a bit confused.

I would say he should be confused by your choices!! He asks you out for another date the day after you met because that's the only time you're available before you leave. You refuse because it's on the other side of town. Two hours after your first date, you were leaving to go home, which is six hours away. If you refuse to travel to the other side of town, how do you expect dating to continue when you live six hours away? Where exactly did you see this leading? I'm curious. How old are you?

And i didn't think it was a date, he wanted me to come over to my friends place because he lives 5 mins away from her. And oh shes also busy at work so not like i can barge into her house whenever i want. I'm planning to move back to the city in a month.

angel.eyes Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 If it was just a date, what prompted you to start a thread? You seem fairly defensive when you're asked simple questions to get a better picture of your situation so that the advice you're given is relevant to you.

With that send off of "keep in touch" he's saying that he wants you to maintain contact with him but he's not going to put any effort forward. Wait and see if he texts you or attempts to contact you. If you haven't heard from him in 24-48 hours then next.
