What do I do?

Gf broke up with me recently due to the long distance (~ hour away) and that we don't have much in common that connected us together. Stated she still loved me and wanted to know my thoughts? At the time, I was just shocked and dumbfounded since we saw each other the day before and she didn't mention anything nor showed any signs. I stated that my thoughts wouldn't matter since she's already decided, but she mentioned that she hadn't decided completely and doesn't know how she feels (in a way I guess I pushed her to break up with me since I kept saying it didn't matter how I felt). I mentioned that it was no hard feelings and if she wanted to break up then just to say so -- she just told me maybe in the future we can be together (we want to be in the same area in a year or two for school), she still loved me and hanging out with me, and wished me luck with everything.

 

Background on us: Only together for a couple months but those may have been the best months of my life. She showed signs that distance was a problem earlier, but I guess I disregarded it since I really wanted to make it work.

 

Fast forward, been on NC for about half a week now. The hours when we would use to talk have been challenging but I'm getting through it. I've acknowledge the things I've done wrong during the relationship (not showing a lot of affection) and will work on it for future relationships. I'm just really confused whether I should talk to her and see where her head is because she said she wasn't 100% sure about breaking up. In a sense, I feel if I know she doesn't want to get back together, I will definitely move on with no hard feelings. I don't want to jump to any conclusions but I checked her facebook which she hardly uses and she just recently added a guy around her area.

 

I know all the sites say to do NC but I'd also want to return her stuff she left at my place. I was thinking of notifying her and asking one of her friends to take it to her (friend travels between my location and hers everyday) but I don't know. Any advice would be much appreciated.
