Went for Mexican with a cute brunette off okcupid. Date went well, she works for the military as an aviation teacher and has a 9mm conceal to carry license. She said she usually tells people she's a teacher, but that I seemed more trustworthy than guys she usually dates, so she gave me a bit more info.

 

I gave her a kiss after we left the Mexican and she suggested we go for beers where she told me even more about her job. I wasn't expecting to like her as much as I did. Date ended with me walking her to her car.

 

She's going to Vietnam for a week on Thursday, but asked if she could see me before then.

 

She's an 8/8.5 imo, so it's a fair assumption she's probably seeing other guys and likely doesn't want anything too seriously (her profile says short term dating).

 

What's my play here if I'm looking for fwb vs long term?

My thoughts exactly. It seems the military frowns upon dating subordinates. She's 30, and most of the kids in her class are around 20.
