basil67 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I drank colts too! it was the cheapest beer bedroom floor in the afternoon when my mom was out Wasn't in love, didn't wait for the right moment, it was spontaneous, let's get down and dirty lol. I was 15 - back seat of my boyfriend's car in a poorly lit place 1
basil67 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 lol cuz their good. There sneaky or in love or w/e the case may be. invite over to house have sex, people have sex with their parents home and they dont care. Ive wittnesse it Yeah, my 16yo teen has sex under my roof when I'm home. As I see it, my choice is either her a)doing it in safety and with open and honest communication with me about consent, contraception etc. I also make sure that her boyfriend's parents are comfortable too. or b) skulking around in some bushes or at someone else's house in secret and taking far too many risks. In short, my decision is about risk management.
PogoStick Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I don't know whether to say it is a good or bad thing to lose one's virginity in highschool but I am confused about how it is even possible for someone to lose their virginity in highschool You're right. It was impossible for me to lose it in high school because I lost it in middle school. I was already up to five by the time I finished high school. Don't get me started on college. Or post-divorce... 3
dreamingoftigers Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 i don't get it either, and the experience can't be that great. what do two teens even know about sex and pleasuring a partner. My first experience was nice. I lost it at 17, on Jan 1st, 2000. At midnight. I had been with my 22 year old bf for six months and he was a virgin as well (very introverted). It was quite emotional and a good experience for both of us. In the six months leading up to it we had gotten to know each other pretty well on an intimate level. He was a pretty enthusiastic lover. I considered myself as fairly disciplined for "waiting" so long. The only regret I had was that I didn't wait until marriage. The first time was a pretty big bonding experience and so that would have been nice to have with a husband. As I got older, I regretted having limited experience prior to marriage. Enh. Never really happy. 1

thecrucible Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 A lot of people at my High School lost it at about 15 or younger. I'm glad that wasn't me as I wouldn't have been emotionally ready for it. I think when I did lose it when I was 17, it would have been nice for it to have been more romantic. When I lost it with a boyfriend, it wasn't planned and it was very early on when we started dating. We lasted a year after that.
WaitingForBardot Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Growing up in the 60's, the pill going mainstream, etc., there was no shortage of sexually active, non-virgin girls (and guys) by high school. Actually quite a few when I was in jr high as well; that's when/where I lost mine. And it was quite an epiphany at that age to discover that girls like(d) sex too and how quick and easy it was for them to drop their panties when they so desired. 1
truth_seeker Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 sleep with the home economics teacher. 1
RecentChange Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I had an incredible amount of freedom when I was in highschool. I guess the mid 90's were before the dawn of the helicopter parent. When I turned 16, I got a car... And was responsible for things like doing the weekly household grocery shopping. I also got paid to do house sitting gigs. How did I lose mine? To my BF, after a night out at a concert. At a neighbors house I was sitting But we would often sneak out and meet up in the middle of the night.... Or go for an evening hike and meet up. Maybe this is where I developed my taste for outdoor sex 2

Maybe this is where I developed my taste for outdoor sex That sounds about right. When I was 16, I had a FWB in my neighborhood. I'd sneak in through her window at midnight, have sex for a few hours, then sneak back home Then college, tiny dorm with a roomy. We'd have to get creative...the study lounge, laundry room, baseball field!
smackie9 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 For me sex was just sex....fun, powerful, casual, exciting, spontaneous, etc....I never put sex up on a pedestal, or treated like it was a holy grail, it leaves no room for regret. 1
GunslingerRoland Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I had ALOT more free time and freedom as a high school student then I do as a working adult with kids. Between all the days off you get, finishing classes early plus the summer, winter, easter breaks there was so much free time. I didn't lose my virginity in high school (due to unpopularity) but I spent the majority of my time out of the supervision of adults. 2
kathoga Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 There's a lot of sex offenders. Probably a lot of high school girls bone guys over 18.
xxoo Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I'm sure it is possible, maybe kind of depends on the major. But while in high school / college, I didn't feel like it is time for me to start a relationship... I didn't have the idea of a partner formed in my head, and I was way to worried about future career steps (picking the right major, college, in my case I had to change countries after college so the right country, grad program / phd advisor etc etc). So I wouldn't be able to be in a real relationship and... I didn't find the though of having sex just for the sex itself very amusing. I wasn't looking for a relationship in HS either, but when that cute boy starts eating lunch with you, then walking you home, then coming over after football practice and moves in for a kiss, what are you gonna do if you're 16? Say no? Not this girl In my personal experience, the wait was good if we're talking about the sex itself, because by the time I decided to lose my virginity, I knew the nits and bolts of my own sexual responses, and I had a flying start. From a relationship perspective, it was not the smartest decision - I experienced a few mistakes that most people have in their teens in my late 20s, which was awkward. My sexual experiences in teen years were very positive. I only spent time with guys I really liked, and only did acts I really wanted to do. And it helped me to figure out what sort of guys I like and what sort I don't--not even talking about sex here, but just how they treated me in general. Good, safe practice for more serious dating. 1
dreamingoftigers Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Aren't they contradictory? Yes LOL.that wasn't too clear. When I was younger, I converted religions at 19. So I regretted already having lost my virginity, and wished I had saved it for marriage. At 22 I met my husband and got married at 23. As I got older, I wished I had had some more dating and sexual experience when I was younger, I didn't quite realize how vadt life was when i was younger and although my moraks and intents were pretty good.....I married a high-numbers guy and often wonder if I didn't miss out on something, or if I would have chosen differently. I don't have a HUGE regret either way. But I probably would have regretted having "too many" partners or none at all. LMAO So, I guess I'll never be "really happy" about it anyway you cut it. There are pros and cons to each.
dreamingoftigers Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 One thing I didn't think of was that I moved out of my parent's home before the end of high school. So no one was "monitoring me."
No_Go Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 IDK, I just preferred to dream about the cute boys in school and help myself if need be But when I finally lost my V it was epic - I was 27, he was 46, I was a doctoral student, he just bankrupted, we were the polar opposites:)... And we moved from my first kiss (not even a lip peck before that) to pretty much anything sexual position that you can think of within a week (or a bit less actually). This was the most fun summer of my life, I felt fully empowered and prepared to enter my adult life:) I wasn't looking for a relationship in HS either, but when that cute boy starts eating lunch with you, then walking you home, then coming over after football practice and moves in for a kiss, what are you gonna do if you're 16? SincereOnlineGuy Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 20 minutes in the museum broom closet? Long lunch on the weed covered hill behind the school? Quickie behind the bleachers? The possibilities are almost endless. What I'm concerned with is the plural, virginities. I feel I may have missed something. You forgot "smokin' - in the boys room" ... and at my high school, the weed part was implicit when you just mentioned "the hill".
